About CIE
The College of International Education was founded in 1985. It is the college in LNNU to accept Internation Student, Students of Chinese descent, and graduate students for Chinese International education. It is one of the education institutions approved by the Ministry of Education and is one of the institutions that has been approved to accept the Chinese government scholarship. It is one of the approved Chinese language education institutions by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. It is one of the demonstrative institutions for foreign students studying in Liaoning Province, and is the testing center for HSK in Dalian. It is also in cooperation with the University of Milan, Italy .
After more than 30 years of development, the college has moved on from being originally aimed at Chinese language training and development to now having Chinese language undergraduates and two masters programs including Curriculum and Teaching Methodology major and Chinese International Education. It also accepts students in 72 undergraduate programs, 160 masters programs, and 45 ph.D. programs such as Education, Psychology, Chinese, Law, Sports, Tourism, History. There are currently about 1,000 students from more than 40 nations studying in the college.
