On the afternoon of October 27, a delegation led by Vice President Nguyen Quoc Tu and Advisor Khong Minh Thai of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Intracom University, Vietnam, visited our School to explore deeper educational cooperation between the two institutions. The meeting was attended by Dean Cao Ru, Vice Deans Wei Yuhong and Zhou Zhenghong, and Bi Lin, Director of the Teaching and Research Office.

Cao Ru extended a warm welcome to the delegation. She noted that the two universities have established a solid foundation for cooperation. She expressed the hope that, with International Chinese Language Education as the bridge, both sides will further advance practical cooperation in talent cultivation and faculty development.

Nguyen Quoc Tu introduced Intracom University’s development history, student profile and Chinese language teaching programmes. Cao Ru briefed the visitors on our School’s international student training pathways, admission majors, postgraduate training schemes, internship and practical arrangements, as well as our ongoing external cooperation projects. The two sides then held in-depth discussions on potential areas for collaboration, including overseas student internships, faculty exchanges, joint teaching and research, and short-term study tours, and reached several points of consensus.

Following the discussions, a plaque-awarding and appointment certificate presentation ceremony took place. On behalf of our School, Cao Ru presented the plaque of “MTCSOL (Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) Internship Base” to Intracom University, and awarded an appointment letter for Practice Supervisor to Vice President Nguyen Quoc Tu.
